Volunteers are the heart and core of Aid for Women!  We would not impact the lives of so many without the generous support of our volunteers. No matter what your time or talent, we have a volunteer position to fit.


Front Desk Greeters
Welcome clients and their guests who visit our centers. Assist staff with client intake process and administrative tasks.

Earn While You Learn (EWYL) Instructor
Provide guidance and support to clients who are participating in the EWYL program. Volunteer instructors meet one-one-one with clients on a regular basis to help them gain valuable knowledge about pregnancy, childbirth, parenting and lifeskills — and the client earns new baby items along the way! Training provided.

Moms-to-Be Support Group Volunteer
Assist staff with welcoming clients and facilitating our monthly Moms-to-Be Support Groups.


Vitae Corps Member
Live and work in community at our residential programs to help provide our residents with safe and nurturing homes. See Vitae Corps page

Life Skills Volunteer
Volunteers present to residents on topics of “Body, Mind and Soul” — such as health, nutrition, exercise, baby care, parenting, job search techniques, resume writing, financial planning, music, art, spiritual growth and more!

Community Dinner Volunteer
Donate and deliver a prepared meal for our residents and children.

Special Projects Volunteer
Assist staff with mailings, administrative tasks, maintaining the Baby Boutique and other household tasks and projects.


Auxiliary and Golf Event Committees
Aid for Women holds several events throughout the year to celebrate the sacred gift of life and to provide essential fundraising for our pregnancy centers and residential programs.  Join an event committee and share your time and talents to support the success of our events.  See Events

Junior Board
Become a member of Aid for Women’s Junior Board and support our organization by promoting and planning events for young professionals in the Chicagoland area.

Community Outreach
Promote awareness of Aid for Women’s mission and client services to your church, school, organization and/or workplace.

Group Service Opportunities
Volunteer service group opportunities are available for all ages!

Prayer Intercessors 
Commit to praying daily for mothers, children, staff members, volunteers and various programs.
