Consider becoming a “Heather’s House Resident Sponsor” by supporting a mother and child. Your underwriting will provide safe housing, food, clothing, professional counseling, education, job-training and spiritual guidance.
Baby Shower or Baby Item Drive
Turn your group or parish social event into a baby shower! Many of our clients do not have the basic items needed to begin their new life with their babies. A baby shower will provide mothers with beautiful new baby clothing and other items so she and her baby can be off to a good start. If you prefer not to have an event, you can conduct a baby item drive by taking up a collection with your group.
Baby Bottle Fundraiser
Your group or parish may also consider taking up an annual collection by participating in our baby bottle fundraiser. We will provide bottles, signage and help as needed.
Stock Heather’s House Food Pantry
Our home accepts donations of non-perishable food items. Consider conducting a food drive with your group or parish and provide help with delivery and stocking of the items. This is also a great way for your youth group to earn service hours.
Spread the Word
Help us spread the word about Aid for Women and Heather’s House by adding an insert in your group or parish newsletter or bulletin or posting a link on your website. We will provide the text and graphics.
