Aid for Women clients have the opportunity to participate in an incentive program by taking advantage of a variety of services we provide and by lending their service to us. We have between 80 to 100 clients participating in the Client Bonus Program at a time.
With direction from their counselors or mentors, clients decide on appropriate services in which to participate. Clients earn “bonus bucks” in a variety of ways, including: participating in an Aid for Women program, attending a parenting class at a hospital, keeping a doctor appointment, watching an educational video at our center, filling out an Aid for Women questionnaire, returning to the center for follow-up and consenting to an Aid for Women newsletter story. Each activity has a predetermined value in “bonus buck” amounts.
The client’s accumulated “bonus bucks” can then be spent on items from the Client Boutique at the centers or at the annual Bonanza Boutique. The Boutique includes new and beautiful items generously donated by local groups and organizations, parishes and individuals. Clients enjoy “shopping” for baby clothes, various baby items, maternity needs, diapers and wipes, women’s accessories, educational books, etc.
