Note from Tammy Neitzel I continue to be amazed at the strength and courage of our clients. In my own life, I experienced a crisis pregnancy and as a result, chose abortion. An organization such as Aid for Women would have been of great assistance and support for me. Perhaps it was God's will that I have been able to find my salvation here. This is my greatest prayer, that other women who find themselves in the frightening and lonely position in which I found myself, will be enabled to access resources and determine solutions that affirm the value of every human life - especially their own. I feel privileged to have established friendships with many of our clients. Deeja and Evelyn are among those friendships. These are remarkable women! Please remember our clients, and all those who are a part of Aid for Women in your prayers. Not Alone At Death's Door Tammy, at Aid for Women, talked with the client about her options and clarified the misinformation she had received by explaining to her how the surgical procedure would be done, as well as the risks to Deeja, both physical and psychological. Fetal development was explained, and an effective documentary shown to her that educates about the many issues surrounding abortion. Tammy provided resources and referrals including a hospital near her home that welcomes Aid for Women clients, all of which helped Deeja decide that she wanted to keep her baby. We are delighted to share with you the good news of the birth of Kyreese, a beautiful, healthy baby boy, born on October 13, 1998. Deeja has expressed her gratitude for all the help she received including weekly phone conversations with Tammy. 'If it wasn't for you, this baby would not have been possible.' Deeja has resumed her high school studies and has made the decision to practice chastity. Please remember them in your prayers. |
