Susan Barrett | Executive Director

Susan received her undergraduate degree in Marketing and M.B.A. in Finance from Loyola University in Chicago. Susan has over twenty-five years of experience in accounting and management, specializing in nonprofit organizations. Joining Aid for Women in 2004, she has served as Aid for Women's Executive Director for the past seven years. Susan also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Maternity Housing Coalition and was the recipient of Heartbeat International’s Servant Leader award in 2017. Susan and her husband Robert have been married for thirty years and have three adult children.

 

Frances Jimenez | Assistant Director

Frances graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, with a degree in Graphic Design and Marketing Communications. Frances has twenty-five years of experience in the corporate, design and non-profit industries in Chicago, IL. Joining Aid for Women in 2006, she oversees the programming and day-to-day operations of the five pregnancy help centers and and manages Aid for Women's marketing efforts. Frances and her husband are the blessed parents of two sons, ages 9 and 14. Frances shares what inspires her to do this work: "Every day I come face-to-face with women who are emotionally, physically and spiritually broken by the evil of abortion. I feel called to serve as a channel of God's love, protection and grace to each and every woman, supporting her in her decision to choose life for her unborn baby and to create a better future for herself and her children."

 

Faith Bohlin | Residential Program Manager

Faith attended Willows Academy in Des Plaines, IL, and Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH. Faith joined Aid for Women in 2016 after serving as the House Mother for a residential program in Plano, IL. Faith oversees the programming and day-to-day operations of Aid for Women's two residential programs - Heather’s House and Monica’s House. Faith shares what inspires her to do this work: “The women that I serve are genuinely heroic. I feel that God is calling me to do His work, to be a keeper of their stories and to hold them in His love.”
